    Ohh yeahhh

And Bill tanks, but not tanks. Good luck with selling it though. Is it an every E thing that they aren't well built, or is just a crap shoot? I've read up on some on EOC, just wondering.

yeah it seems split 90/10; 90 percent of element owners love their E and have no problems.. i've had a few problems with mine and i believe its because the previous owner didnt do regular maintnance... so now i have to do it allllllllllllllllllll, the past 6 years worth... lols... i just had the alternator/and serpentine belt replaced.... and the head was rebult not too long ago too... so yeah im paying a lot to keep this on the road... i dont think its with every element though.... there are people on the board way past the 130XXX mark and going strong without any problems... thats why if i ever buy a newer car again--- i will just get brand new, that way i can keep track of whats going on and not deal with bad ownership again....

i do believe that the life-span of anycar really depends on the owner and taking care of your vehicle....

so yeah keep looking- get one with low low miles and buy from an owner you can trust....
  • congrats on the engagment.

That's what I'm shooting for. Kinda nervous about the one I'm looking at...but its an EX awd 107,xxx... I'll do some more research on it... I read some of your posts on EOC and was just wanting to ask about the reliability factor. Thanks for the info bro

    what year???

    ive researched and researched...

good call on gettin an EX, mine is an LX, and i've spent some coin getting it to EX status... should have just started with an EX...
    EX comes with:
    oem sub
    arm rest or rests??
    back seat bungies
    mudflaps
    possible oem roofrack
    rear power outlet
    possible fog lights
    cruise control
    AC
    possible oem visors
    possible tow pkg
possible running bars (which are ugly imo; but aslo usefull if your hauling stuff on the rack... but either way great to sale to someone else if you dont like them)

anyways a fully loaded EX will have some great options...

its worth it just to get an EX....

It's an 04, has oem sub(totally tits), no running boards, no fogs, arm restsesses, and a few more little things like that. It's awd which is a biggie with me I wanna do like a rugged more off road look. I guess it's an Arkansas thing

    ^ i like...

im in the middle... i like the practicallity of the moar rugged look... but i wanna slam the shit out of my E, with 18x9s and then i think i will be done... lols yeah right

    just ordered these

*also thanks to everyone for the congratulations on engagement... we are so excited and scared to plan a wedding... its really unreal that im getting married; but im a very ver very lucky man; i have the most amazing girl in the world.... she cant wait till i get another wagon (it truly makes no sense- but she loves wagons)
  • Dash-N-CarsDash-N-Cars Senior Wagonist
Yeah if I was going to slam the E then I'd just get the 2wd...SC or something more streety. I think the 1st gens look more rugged and outdoorsy.

And I can only imagine how nerve racking it is to even think about getting married right now, my old lady is chomping at the bit for a ring...
  • Grats, Bill! From all your adventure pics together, you two seem like a great match.

The other day I saw my first E-camper in person on one driving down the road here. Funny how one gets geeked over something like that. I'd love to get another E and camperize it...if I had a bit more disposable income.

also went to the stealership and got some of these... my plastic fender was missing 4 lil clips for some reason- they either broke off or just disapeared... anyways the plastic portion of the fender was only held on with like 2 clips... it bothered me.... got 4 for 10 dollars- worth it...

  • I love Honda to death, but if I were gonna drive a moving breadbox/toaster, it would be a XB lol,
