    Ahhh... that makes sense. I couldn't make out what that building was. I shoulda known. I don't know why I ruled out you going North lol

    ps- next best sandwich place in town is in that building. Kowalski's Deli is the shiznittlebamsnipsnapsack! If you order a half sandwich, it's a full. And if you order a full, it's two. The booomb!

    Yeah we had one for a while, but sold it when the gas started killing us since we moved out so far in the boonies. It was our favorite car though, and she still brings it up. With the baby coming, we've got to sell her 06 2dr EX, so I'm looking at options now. I've actually found a few really good deals on them here, compared to when we sold ours a year ago. I never modded ours though, and seeing the subtle things you're doing makes me start to think another one could be kind of fun. But then there wouldn't be much need for the wagon.

    you can put two baby seats in no problems...

    Ya, but most parents these days wanna sit in the back with their kids, so they can keep them entertained on long trips. Personally, my wife and Imanaged for years with a Civic hatchback and 2 kids. One was a newborn and the other was quite a bit older, but it was no big deal. Raise your kids right, and you'll make things a lot simpler on yourself in the long run.

    What made you re-paint the checkerboard? My wife really wants an FJ, but she would settle for an Element. I'd love to stay Honda, but the E has that stupid low GVWR, which scares the crap out of me. Plus, we need something that can tow 4-5k lbs (race car on trailer), and my truck is getting a little long in the tooth.

    i was sick of people thinking i wanted to race because my checkerboard hood; bunch of ricers
    and mini vans alway taking off and starring me down.... nothing worse than a dude with
    mini-van-atude...

    I know we could make it happen but we both work at bars, i work at 3 so a lot of drunk friends, we need the fifth seat quite often. Nobody wants to be taking car seats and the bases out at 3 in the morning, the car seats nowadays have way too many clips and buckles!

    took the element camping; i love this car... we went on a 42 mile bike ride from plummer to cataldo on the courdelanes trails; fun at first but the last 10 miles were kinda brutal...

    they fold down to make a bed... pretty comfy better than the ground and plenty of room... it would be nice to have like a 3 inch foam pad to put over the top after laying the seat flat- just cause the rear cup holders are hard...

    well i was bored- and decided to install my navi system... i had done this once
    and anihilated my dash lights- this time i took my time and read the instructions;
    and basically still couldnt find an error that i was missing--- then i was reading
    online about aftermarket install in hondas and came across a guy that did the
    same thing when installing a unit in his new civic; the problem being connecting
    the orange/white to the orange/white wire (sounds like it should work that way;
    next thing you know- you have no dash lights for a year) anyways the orange/white
    wire from the head unit connects to the solid orange wire on aftermarket wiring
    harness...
    968.jpg

    i still need a trim kit as there is a lil gap around the unit that will eventually
    drive me crazy... and as luck would have it; they make no trim kit for the
    element--- but word on the street is that an 06 Pilot one will work..

    1119.jpg

    also if you didnt know handa-accessories.com is running a special
    on these right now (cheapest place on the internet- with cheap shipping)...
    ----im waiting for them to put mudflaps on special; i fear im getting cheap...

    i swear handa-accessories is gonna be the death of me- dangerous place to venture...
    1120.jpg

    these are much harder to install than i was expecting- not hard; just kinda time consuming... lols... took me an hour or so...
    1121.jpg

    and i had this yakima basketcase left over from my wagon...
    i also have yakima board racks already- although i may need new hardware...

    yes lookin great dude. 42 miles on the bike...nice work! And the moose...very cool. So all these accessories, when do you get the e-Camper? http://jalopnik.com/322099/a-honda-elem ... e-elements

    BTW, we ended up getting a 97 CRV instead of an E, cuz I got a damn good deal. I will live vicariously through you on this one.

    not sure i really want it...

    yeah i almost got a crv several times before getting the E, but then i found
    and element i could afford and bought it instead..... any mods planned for the crv???
