New shock absorbers

Hi, I think about buying new shock absorers for the front as the left one is leaking and they are old. I have a 1987 4wd
I checked this site and there is the sock absorber unit and the shock absorver assy

http://www.hondapartsdeals.com/hpa_part ... vin=&Label[ProductID]=CIVIC+4WD+(85-87)&Label[YearID]=1987&Label[DoorID]=5&Label[GradeID]=4WD&Label[AreaID]=KA&Label[TransmissionID]=5MT&Label[SectionID]=CHASSIS&Label[IllustrationGroupID]=REAR+SHOCK+ABSORBER&ProductID=21&YearID=26&DoorID=3&GradeID=70&AreaID=2&TransmissionID=3&SectionID=6&IllustrationGroupID=5326

Does the assy includes the unit, and some aditionnal parts?
Because the left assy is cheaper than the left unit alone, while the right assy is almost twice more, so will I get the unit in the assy and should I just buy the right shock unit alone and the whole assy for the left, as the price is the same?
Thank you
Also, I would like to change the springs, if anybody know where to find these and if there are other than 1984-87 4wd that will fit.

edit: can't seem to have t link work.

Here is a pic, assy is number 2, unit is 3, it is 75 the units, 140 the rear assy, 75, the left assy, just dn't get these prices. I guess I can go with right unit and left assy?

Finally the shock absorbers are discontinued. Are there any struts/shock absorbers that will direct fit (or almost) a 1987 RT? For the front at least.

You can upgrade to a Teg suspension & brakes  .Do a search .They're several threads here on the subject.

Most of the subjects are on gen 4 no? its the same for a gen 3? And ca i use any shck absorber or cv joitn form a gen 4 on a gen 3 rt?
thanks. And my car is for winter (some ice race maybe) use and some offroad, not dry performance, so I odn't need any big brakes or stiff suspension, I have an mr2 turbo for lapping and summer.

I don't want to lower the car as it's for winter use mostly, I checked and kyb seems to have front struts for gen 3 wagon 2wd. I know that the rear suspension is different on 4wd, but is the front the same as on 2wd wagon (which have more travel than 3 door on front, same as 3-4 door on rear)? I can't get any clue with part numbers, they are a bit different, but I still think they are the same, jus tnore sure, thanks. And would the kyb gr2 fit directly? Als, to fit gr2, do I need the strut mount and boot or just the shock?
