Why would JDM parts come from Canada?

Canada has way more JDM vehicles than the US. So I would say the OPs question is valid and possible.

In Québec (1/4 of canada's population) I heard (from more than 1 source) that they were about 5000 jdm (on 7 millions people) about 6 months ago when they stopped the import (just in Québec... sucks), and they were mostly sport cars (couple of kei cars), as in Vancouvver the market is bigger with many delicas and 4x4 being sold, I guess they are maye 15-20 000jdm in Canada (they are not that muchs successfull in the east or Ontario though).
After, jdm car being imported doesn't mean jdm parts for all the vehicules, they won't other findinf 90 civic parts while they can buy in Japan for uber cheap civic Sir or skyline GTR parts that they will sell for gold. But still, yes with the jdm shops there was some choice, but mostly for 92+ civic (only in Honda), and a bit for for crx, civic si 88-91..
Also I think people are boring to buy the same jdm all the time, I know the nicest ones aren't cheap, but I would prefer to see honda city turbo, autozam, honda beat, Midget II, rather than the 3rd GTR R32 in my day. Well, I drive an MR2 mk2 so I bought a big seller too, but its the best for track, I don't care about the rest.
