Hey. I noticed that two of my sites are linked up on various parts of this site, so I thought I'd post. Thanks for linking to Cause For Alarm, whoever that was. http://www.vsracing.net/~suspended The site is needs some more developing and formatting, but I'm glad to see that there's some interest in it and I hope it helps people who want to secure their shit from getting stolen. DIY bitch!
Secondly, the link to the honda wagon site that I made for my friend. http://www.angelfire.com/az3/hondawagon/index.html That car brings back a lot of memories. As you can see the site hasn't been touched since 03. That car was stripped and the shell was recycled, roll cage and all. Fortunately, most of the parts live on in a AWD 88 Civic wagon that somehow ended up in my possession. This car was built alongside Honda Tuning's draggin wagon by the same guy that did most of the work on that car. My friend quit his job at a dyno shop in LA and moved out of state. He bought an Audi and he's trying to get away from working on cars in general. He took the B16A with him. The Haltech is junk. There's no reason to mess with it now since the introduction of the AEM EMS.
So... about the new wagon. It's got the D16A6. Bad head or head gasket. Ebay turbo, custom piping, AEM EMS fully tuned, Wilwood brake kits front and rear, Ground Controls, Tokico illuminas, HIDs, MSD ignition. Most importantly, it's AWD. Pictures here (temporarily): http://www.vsracing.net/~suspended/wagon/wagon.html
The future of this car is uncertain. I already have two other Civic projects. I don't know how to fit this weird car into my life. It needs a lot of work to make it comfortable again. The damn heater system was removed! It's an eyesore. It's registered out of state with no hope of becoming CA smog legal. But it's also a pretty interesting car. My most realistic option is to strip it down the shell, swap everything over to my 90 Si hatch, and sell off the rest. But in the meantime, I'm going to swap on a 96 HX head with an HKS headgasket and have some fun with it until the registration expires.
