Problem w/ my new wagon

hey guys just picked up another wagon today and on the road trip home it stalled out after 1hr of driving it just completely died didn't chug or anything like that just went out still had all the lights and everything. So we stopped checked all the fluids and everything was good no lose battery wires or anything like that so we jump in and it starts right up so now its about 2 more hours of driving and the tach drops to zero and its gonna die so I pumped the gas about 3-4 times and it revved right back up and went out with its thing.

Now the things that have just been changed by last owner
-Alternator
-Fuel module
-starter
-battery

Anyone know whats going on with this?? Its not going to be hitting the road any time soon since the snows coming soon but once the snows gone its going to be my daily driver so anyone else have this problem??

  • Main relay? Usually causes the fuel pump to stop working, which should make it chug a little as it dies, but if the solder joint that's failing is the one that feeds power to the ECU, I could see it just straight up dying.

maybe a distributor issue? The pumping the gas bit could be a red herring.
