lol im not asking a question, im requesting puictures
yes front and rear roughly 1"
  • sort of on subject question here, are the EF 2wd and EG/EJ springs the same size shock perch and top hat seat? i ask cause i have front and rear EJ EX springs that i want to put in but was hesitant to put them in yet cause i dont have the time to tear apart my car yet to see if they fit. has anyone else tried the EG/EJ springs on the RT shocks? or if that spring shock combo is even doable?

i think they are different length and diameter, so no, they wont fit

has no-one got a pic? there must be someone out there with them!
  • well then its time for plan B. whole new setup for spring, and to decide what setup to go with...

im torn what to do as well
i have knakered 4WD suspension, and some good condition 2WD springs, so i can either get some good RT shocks for these springs, or go all out and find some 2nd hand coilovers, but thats gunna be £200+, where as RT shocks i could get for not too much.

:? Your answers lie in this link:+++SiWagon & clsmooth Suspension Upgrades also found @ Suspension Quicklinks under DISCUSSION: More Suspension.

Marc_EE9's answer lies in the Lowering section. The You may have to use a 2WD Wgn rear spring. The 2WD(EF) springs maybe a inch(25mm) too low. You'll have to extrapolate the answer from the above link.

BIOHAZARD's answer lies in the Lifting Section.

i dont have any 2wd shocks, and cant find any either.

or is my real question... is it worth it?
  • im not trying to lift my car i just have 2 broken springs in the front and wanted to see if the ex springs would fit on the rt shocks.

If you had read that Lifting Section.Your EX's would fit,but will lift the Wgn. :?
  • i did read the lifting section but was unsure of where EG/EJ springs are mentioned. unless you were pointing to "3/4''-1''(19-25mm):red civic standard used 2000 Civic Si Springs." being that the si is the EK generation i was unsure. and the end result of lowering or lifting is irrelevant cause im fine with either result. sorry if i seem to be going in circles i was just confused.
