i hope its in good condition as i dont know how to really look at it for any damages like warpage or missing small parts.
Take it to a machine shop and get it checked out! have it decked, pressure tested.
I picked up a "good used" z6. Tried it out, now it's at the machine shop and I've gotta buy another head gasket.
The head shop I'm using says the d-series heads are really prone to wearing out exhaust valve guides. He showed me how they feel fine untill you pull the valve, clean all the oil, and then check the fit. Blew my mind! Once cleaned off it felt sloppy ass hell. They felt fine before he pulled and cleaned them of. And when I say cleaned off he just wiped them and shot a little carb cleaner through hte guide

would it help if im going to use supertech valved, springs, retainers.
