difference between eg and ef front forks?

    ID of the shock hole. The EG takes a larger diameter shock than the EF.

    Not sure if the chassis code is EG or not but I ended up buying some suspension forks off a del sol. The height was exactly the same as my ef forks but accepted the wider shock body.

    Height's the same on both.

    There is, however, a slight twist in the "EG" ones... the EF ones are straight.
