3G Honda Accord Aerodeck's

Anyone like them? Are they popular in the US?
Do people buy them, modify them?

I ask, as my dad's mate has one that he's going to scrap, and I'm considering buying it to break for spares. They aren't very popular here in the UK.. but thought if they are in the US/EU then I'd help some people out with parts.

I don't believe I've ever seen one here, Marc. I could be wrong.
  • i had a 3g accord before and never thought that it had a wagon version. i sold it but i thought that it would run forever.

they arnt very popular in the states... i personally would kill for one... i think they are
hot shit.... could you ship that to me...?

As far as I know the Aerodeck wasn't offered in America. Only the liftback style.
  • I have to agree with revmaynard. I believe this is a JDM/EDM thing yet once again. There is an older guy in my town with one, lowered, rims, and black. It is a nice car and the extra moonroof/sunroof in the rear is an option I wish the wagons had.

These things are getting rare now, althoug sadly there is nobody interested in them anymore. I think they have a nice shape. I used to see them at the scrapyards complete, while the civic's and crx where torn apart for parts these cars just rusted away complete. I doubt if you could sell parts of it, maybe you could find someone interested in it as classis.

Well the guy only wants £60 for it, but it will have no MoT or Tax left.

I'm sure I could make my money back easy by selling it for parts, as he will only get it weighed in for scrap if I don't take it.

I wasn't sure if there was a following for them like EE/EF's. I'll see what it's like, but it's not available until January anyway.

those were never offered in the states.
    so its not popular haha

i do remember though back in the day when the accord hatchback (which is similar) was really popular... everyone i knew loved theirs. personally would not mind one if i could source it that cheap.

For 60 punds it buy it and sell it for parts if I was you to make some money that you can invest in your own car again or somethin. Would be ashame if it gets crushed without 1 part getting reused.

My first honda was a 2g accord. My and another friend rocked the accords for quite a while, stubborn that we were going make them "perform"... lol, he still is... only thing is, he removed the original 2.0 A20A3 and put a F22A2 in the back lol... now it's RWD... you can see the thread here: http://www.3geez.com/forum/showthread.p ... fe&t=64572

since then, i've had a 3g accord sedan and a 3g accord coupe... just sold the coupe. Civics are just so much easier to work on, and have a million times better aftermarket support, so i switched...

my first civic was a 88 CRX DX w/ a B17A1 swap, that was good, but i wanted better lol, so i moved up to a 88 CRX Si w/ b18c JDM Integra Type R motor. Now i'm building an all out CRX (my 3rd) with my ITR and an all metal shell, sporting Skunk2 UCAs all around, Ground Control Advanced Design coilovers, DA arms & brakes (including master, booster, prop), ss lines, and a lot of other custom touches...

I do love my wagon though, and it's going to get some loving once the REX is done...

Anyway, enough about me... if you want to part out that aerodeck, 3geez.com is a great place to start!

You find a state (one with a seaport) and find out what importing laws are in that state for a car from overseas, for instance, in Tx, you can import any car over 25 years old, and legally have it titled here in the US.

I have never seen these Hondas. They are hot. I would totally rock one.
  • Again Honda! WTF. Bring that stuff to the US. I like those better than the lift backs. I always like the tail lights on those with the clear plastic over the red.
