Its been a while since i had my head under the dash but what yer sayin is even if the pedal was long enough on a forward mounted master so that u could mount the master cyliner above the shock tower it would still hit some heater tubes above.....
I think brembo makes a slim line vertical clutch and break pedal assembly. its been a while and i cant remeber where i saw it but it would have been tits for someone making a flat wirewall with no brake and no clutch lines..... I still have everything to swap my car to hydro except a way to mount the master without messing with anything else.....
I didn't know that was a forward facing master cylinder pedal assembly. I see what you're trying to do and I'm trying to picture it in my head, but I still don't think it'll work out like you want. You can always give it a try if you have an extra pedal assembly lying around that you could mock up. Post pics if you do.
I believe i still have my busted ass old pedal assembly. If i remember correctly where the clutch cable goes through the fire wall it was high enough to mount a master cylinder..... If so gettting a forward throw pedal up in there would be the ticket and u wouldn't lose any heater ducts at all..... im gunna try to come up with something since im keeping the wagon i need to get it a lil more driver friendly for my woman in case she needs it. this means get A/C back in it, Make a softer clutch pedal, and put a non power steering rack in so the ratio is a lil easier for her to turn besides it still leaks PS fluid and it just bothers me.... and of course a JRSC....
I know this is a super old thread but I just wanted to update it since I have some miles on my car now. SO far I have drove almost 1100 miles with my car and have had no issues with the clutch feel. I did have to use EF pedals, slightly modify under the dash, and you will not be able to have a driver's side vent duct. Other than that it was a simple install. If anybody ever has a questions just PM me.
