She hates it. LOL. I think she's mad that I bought it, and she said she wont ride in it, until I tint the windows. But its cool, cus I think this purchase just brought the value of my 89 Civic SI, up in her eyes.
:rofl: :rofl:. My wife is the same. She loves driving it, but said the same about tinted windows she said she feels ghetto. She was real sad when I bought it, the 'other' car I was looking at for DD duties was a 2000 SVT contour. She liked that one lol. I didn't because with 118k miles I smelled a breakdown I couldn't fix. Nice engine note though.
And, because of the schwagovan, my integra just got a little bit nicer to my wife. She would rather be seen in the teg, but would rather drive the schwago. I think the pucked race clutch in the teg throws her off a little bit. But luckily I bought her some big american suv so my wife leaves my hondas alone. Choice ftw.

ladie friend hates, it but rides in it anyways when she doesnt want her jeep...she thinks it to low because the mudflaps scrape when i go over speed bumps or up driveways or take a corner to fast...
she said she wont drive it ever again without the windows being tinted....sucks for her because they never will be !!!
my wife hates mine, but its most likely because I went from rhd cars like an eg6,ef8 and ef9 and some s2000's to the wagon lol. She thinks it looks like a mini but I didnt buy it for her
She is not a big fan went from a 97' integra ls to the 88' wagon it missing all the "girl things" (power everthing) haha who cares she can drive her own Car
My wagon is the best lady friend I have ever had. she doesnt complain when i ride her hard, or leave her at home if its raining, and always shows me a good time when I take her out
my parents tell me to get rid of it and get a better car newer but i tell them no bcuz is not what they like its what i like bcuz there not going to ride in it any ways so what shut they matter so "they tink is a junk "
My wife didn't care too much for mine. Thought it was "whatever" and even went so far as to say it was ugly. We bought one for her since we have two kids and getting then in/out of the EF hatchback was a pain. Didn't care too much for her wagon either eventhough I lowered it and put some nice wheels on it for her. Until one day after leaving a carnival with the family we walk up to her wagon only to find out someone attempted to steal it and damaged a few things in the process. She cried and realized how much she truly loved her wagon. Now she appreciates it and comes home to tell me how other enthusiasts gave her the "thumbs up" on her way to work! It's funny how it took something like that to open her eyes and realize what she has.

I've owned about 6 hondas/acuras in 5 years...lol. My girl just tells me "let's see how long this one last" but I think I'm definitly keepin my wagon. Needs some work but I love the feel of it. I think this ones a keeper!
I just bought mine a few weeks ago. My girlfriend loves it so much that she wants to buy a 2wd wagon I found for parts, to have me get running again for her. She's already planning on selling her 02 Land Rover.
My wife wants me to sell it. After working on cars all day at work i come home and work on my wagon Or getting online to find new parts.. She does not like my wagon at all .. She says its a little kid car.. She thinks i am dumb for picking my wagon to drive every day and not my bmw...
My wife actually pushed me to find another one. She loves her '91 hatchback, but missed the room and utility of the other two wagons that I owned (and have regretted ever selling). It was funny how she seemed to enjoy seeing the mods everyone in the forum has made to their rigs and actually has endorsed the mild stuff that I have planned. I bought the '89 cream wagon and she didn't even see it before I paid for it. She pitched in to help clean it up when I got it home and even bought it a present of a new Sony radio/CD deck with the iPod connection. That was partially for her benefit as she has been very eager to drive it for her errands. Now, she is talking having the suspension tightened up and sounds like she will contribute to that cause. Maybe I can talk her out of the VX wheels I found and put on her hatch? Not likely, but worth the effort.
Just lucky she has been on board with the wagon project. She is even talking now about trying to straighten out the garage so it can be out of the weather and protected.
I told my wife I was selling the civic to buy & fix a wagon. She knows how much I love & care for my CRX so she knows I'll do it right! I have the complete go ahead!
Well when I had my wagon everyone at wyotech called it the Pope Mobile. They all liked it cuz it was 4wd. Girls hated it though. My girl now would rather have her 87 300zx. I am gonna buy another one pretty soon since I have a 4 month old son. I restore muscle cars for a living and my boss thinks I'm nuts. Wait till I turbo it and blow the doors off his trans am.
Well as a wife of a Wagon enthusiast, I have to say that NOW I love it! When I first saw it, I wasn't so sure.. ( Perhaps it was the Rat Fink sticker taking up half the back window? who knows..) It honestly helped me to get over it by seeing some of you guys' wagons all fixed up! I help my hubby work on it when we go to his parents in Utah (my mom would $h!t if he worked on the cars here.. we rent from her.. ) We get the lil' one out to help too... She's only 6, but likes to do things with her daddy. I myself had a father who was into muscle cars, so it was just like second nature to me. The only thing I kinda pushed for is to make the interior of the wagon Island Style.. I have some really cool vintage fabric that would totally work with the theme he was already going with- Thank goodness my MIL does all the upholstery work for my FIL's classic cars!! (My in-laws rebuild classics). I like being involved in the building and planning with it and can't wait for it to be finished.

LOL thats completely opposite of what my gf is, i had to force her into my car by taking her purse into it and when she finaly got into it, i drove on public streets she made it very clear that she will never ride in it again unless it has double limo tint!
my woman said before i got it she would never ever ever ride in it it was sooo ugly . now she goes were ever in it she doesnt mind and she likes it now she said its grown on her and she wants to drive my rt4wd one when i get it done since its an automatic

But on the other hand she hates that i talk about the car all the time, and she gets frustrated when we go out and i look at cars and say stuff about them. She is like , "just shut the fuck up about cars already ,its you and me!", :? but i ignore her for like 10 min. and keep on with the car talk. 8) After i feed her she shuts the fuck up and goes with w/e i say.

my boyfriend was into wagovans for quite some time. i never liked them i always laughed at him. but then out of the blue i just had to get a wagovan, so here i am now. i went out and bought an 88 civic wagon 5 speed and my boyfriend is proud
I haven't got one yet but my wife says," You just want it because you want it." I'm like ,"hey we're having a kid in 6 months and we need something with 4 doors and 4wd. It isn't my fault you can't drive in the snow."
That didn't go over too well but she said if I can buy one I can keep it.

She loved my EG6, My Accord Type R and my Mini (a real one), unfortunatly, I sold all of them ! lol...
