What does your wife , girlfriend. significant other, dog think of your
wagon obsession? My wife thinks it is OK but sometime wonders why I put more new parts on this old rusty DD.
(cause I LOVE it!)

    My gf gets kind of mad because I like to change vehicles like I change my underwear. I'm keeping the wagon for while though. It's utility is timeless.

    My wife refers to my wagon as garbage and sometimes wishes I lept my CRX instead of selling it to buy the wagon. (Sometimes I wish I kept the CRX as well as buy the wagon but finances at the time wouldn't allow it). I don't know why she would think this with all of its' rusty body panels and oil burning engine. To me she is a beauty! And I will keep it as long as it'll pass inspection and not fall apart on me. And once that happens, I'll get another.

    I've always said if I win the lottery, I am going to fix my wagon up proper, rust and all!!

    She hates it. LOL. I think she's mad that I bought it, and she said she wont ride in it, until I tint the windows. But its cool, cus I think this purchase just brought the value of my 89 Civic SI, up in her eyes. :)

    My dogs love the wagon. The misses is patient with the time and money spent on the cars, but she mentioned taking over the wagon once it's at 100%. :shock:

    I also change my cars a lot as well. And I get grief from everyone that I know about that. But my wife likes my wagon, and liked my old wagon too. :wink: We'll switch cars occasionally just for fun.

    My wife drove mine and said "It's fun! I want one, too!" Now she's on her second one, and commutes in it daily. Her other car is an '02 XTerra, she almost never drives it.

    Of course, Some serious work went into making it acceptable(to me) for her to drive.

    i had two tegs before i got the wagon. i sold my tegs and only drives the wagon. my neighbor (old lady) said she likes the tegs better. my lady friend likes the teg better two. my neighbor kid wants me to sell the wagon and buy a teg gsr. nah they just dont know nothing. my waggy is slow but i love it coz its a rare beauty period. may in the future ill buy another honda/acura but still gonna keep my baby.

    It's funny... The wife leaves before I do.. She usually takes the wagon! My daughter loves to ride in it too!

    i lucked out with mine its the first car of 6 i own currently that is an automatic.
    once i put remote starter kit on it im golden she will love it forever.

    not related really but,
    Whenever i do a car interior for the muscle car guys locally i make a matching purse.
    So that their gf or wife wont kill them when they take the car home with a new interior.
    Man that makes my interiors more popular with the ladies XD.

    i just got mine and shes just mad that i bought a car that isnt in drivable condition. wont be that way for long. reasonable i guess... shes learned to overlook my questionable taste... heh

    eh julia doesnt think bad of it, but everytime i get something for the wagon, she rolls her eyes and asks "does you car NEED that??" but she is oblivious to what cars are, so i say "YES!!!"

    I used my son as an excuse to buy the wagon and convinced her it's not safe to roll him around in my 89 si, she officially hates it! if i'm not working on it i'm on the internet trying to buy something for it, and everytime i get a package i have to buy her something just to shut her up!

    My wife was hating the idea of putting money into her wagon until I lowered it. Then she drove it and felt the difference in handling and I never got it back. Now she is just getting upset that it has been sitting so long waiting for me to finish it up.

    My wife hated it when I first got it. She said she would never drive it. I said fine by me but one day she was forced to drive it and she loved it. So I had to buy me another so she could have one to drive as well. Now we fight over the turbo wagon so I am supercharging hers.

    Thats why we have:
    two wagons (three really)
    two tegs
    two crx's
    and my race car hatch

    you sir hit the nail on the head!! i did the same to the wife and now there are literally 20 or more boxes of parts stacked in the garage, full of parts to be installed. now if i could just get all the side jobs done so i can work on my own car. (i'm an ase master cert. tech with ten years in the buisness. the wife pimps me out to all her co-workers to do all their car services for them at a "resonable" price)

    My wife loves the idea of my Wagon, but not so much the actual item. Especially not now that the power brakes aren't working.

    Heaven knows I couldn't have asked for a more supportive partner while I was building it. I've got to find some time to fix up the mechanical stuff and get "E-chan" back in her good graces.

    I showed my girlfriend a picture of a wagon and told her I want to get one, her exact words were "if you get one of those I am never riding with you!". So If I get a wagon I can have 2 ways of getting away from her, golf and driving my wagon! :lol:

    My girlfriend said she would leave me if I bought one, I bought it and now she loves it after she realized how practical it is and even drives it around town with pride.
