Integra armrest in the Wagovan

I decided it would be nice to replace the old console and have an armrest. I got this armrest (94-01 2dr Integra) on ebay for $5 (plus $10 for shipping) probably because of the tan color...which happens to match mine.

It sits pretty low so I don't know how much I'll use it, but it was cheap, easy and doesn't look too bad.

    Thanks. My only gripe is that it sits so low (or the seats sit too high). Anyone have any ideas on how to fix that? I guess I could make a bracket of some sort to lift it up, but then it wouldn't look clean. Because I want to use it, but in order to do so, I gotta do the mad gangsta lean :lol:

    looks good man. i got the same thing in one of my 88 rt's. mine is a bit low and the cupholders and molding dont reach up to the underside of the dash.

    one easy fix is to drive layed back like a G.

    did you try mounting the upper portion too?

    Didn't come with the upper portion (I assume you're talking about the console area with cupholders). I will keep my eyes open on classifieds as well as the junkyard, but this was cheap and works ok for $15.

    yeah. that combo runs close to $100 sometimes on ebay. a lot of EF owners use it. that armrest fits perfect, but that wouldnt work too well with my '90 because i have those auto-seatbelts, so that big chunky things are in the middle.

    I put 2002 Civic seats in my wagon...got lucky, they come with an armrest, like this one, but tan:

    im alright with armrests actually. i usually just put my arm on the gearchanger :lol: my hand is usually there anyway to change the song. im more worried about the cupholder....its such a pain to hold drinks, especially when i have multiple.

    Yeah i'd have to say my number one gripe about my wagon is the no cup holders thing. Not many car owners can say they have a big little gripe... :lol:

    Try this...

    Take a hang-from-the-window type cup holder, remove the plastic tab that inserts into the window space.

    Add Velcro to the cup holder (on bottom and back of cup holder), stick in place on the dash, and voilà !!!

    I've done this and it works quite well... I have yet to spill a drink or coffee...

    Nah i hate stuff jutting out and looking akward... i'm going to remove the stock head unit (my aftermarket one is in the lower piece where the equalizer used to go) and put in a cup holder from a Toyota Hilux, which will pull out when i need it. :D

    i have a 93 4runner and 92 hilux and the cup holder is too small for an american. be shure to mount it well. its a great idea though good luck with it.
    are blue 88 has a full center and cup holders from a 94 gsr. those cup holders are a little too close to the radio.
    my next cup holder is for are white 90 and i will be cutting the stock center to make a cup holder from a eg to fit right infront of the shifter.

    Try the DA armrest. I used one in my car. Direct bolt in and sits at a decent height. Its a little on the low side, but it looks like it sits higher than the one pictured. Plus it works with the stock center console. Heres a pic:

    Oh ya, they came with the palmy blue int. They are not an easy find, but if your resourcefull, they can be obtained.

    Ill see if I can get a camera for some different shots, but Im low on time these days.
