awd front passenger axle

ive searched the forum and posted in another topic that was already started

is the front passenger side axle the same as other efs?

on rockauto.com the part numbers were the same.

just wanted to verify b4 i ordered

    I may be posting this too late, but double check the spline count! I believe it's 27 for RT4WD but 26 for FWD. The size and length of the shaft is the same as a FWD car. (Not so for the driver's side, which has an intermediate shaft that FWD models do not.)

    It is not the same. I went through about 4 axles from the parts store before I finally found one that was the right spline count.

    autozone, advanced autozone, and a regular O'reily's all sold me the wrong one. I ended up going to the main hub store for O'reily's and they had a picture and spline count and we were able to find me the right one.
