after searching for about 4 weeks for a Wagon i happened to come across an Integra about 500 miles away from home. me and my mom drove up to pick it up, i test drive...sign papers over yada yada...WELL, i get on the highway following my mom to head home.... not 5 minutes on the road and suddenly the thing like "shuts down" and starts smoking  i pull over...pop the hood and my mom stops too and i smell burning wires. we go back to the dude i bought it from and he comes out and wut happened was that the starter got stuck (it has an annoying push-button start) and the starter got fried along with some wires from the battery. we jump start it and take it to a mechanic. LONG STORY SHORT... they have it fixed the next day, so we had home. today is day one of it officially being mine. and i tell ya, it runs real nice. the engine has about 90,000 miles on it..but the body has over 325,000 miles...
of course i am still going to get a wagon soon, hopefully this summer. it is the one my family owned since new, i am going to bring it back to life.
but for now, here is a short list of mods:
JDM B16a1 motor
Thermal Exhaust
Neuspeed sway bar
Suspension Technique front and real stabalizer bars
Montegi 17" rims with Kumho Ecsta tires
Skunk2 Coilovers
Koni Yellow adustable shocks
ViS Carbon Fiber hood
JDM front headlights
S2000 shift knob
momo streering wheel
short shifter
UPDATE: since then i've gotten a set of brand new Yokohama Parada spec-2 tires, cornering is amazing  also put some red pinstripes for the heck of it, painted the valve cover red as well... got a Spoon racing emblem and a Honda emblem now i am official Jay Dee Em

Would you mind resizing those images? They are huge.
good find tho. very nice wheels
Now, I'm not criticizing you, just provoking some discussion...
The B16 in the DA chassis. Why do people do it?
1993 B16a1: 160hp @ 7600 rpm and 111 lbs-ft @ 7000 rpm
92-93 GS-R: 160hp @ 7600 rpm and 117 lbs-ft @ 7000 rpm
92-93 LS/GS: 140 hp @ 6300 rpm and 126 lbs-ft @ 5000 rpm
So to GS-R owners...its a flat out downgrade. Less torque on comparably geared transmissions.
To LS/GS owners...its 20 more hp but 15 less lbs-ft.
Thats sounds like an questionable trade off. The only thing that saves the B16 is the gearing(the LS sucks). I say take the better B16 gearing and put it on an LS/GS eengine and get the best each has to offer.
sorry about the mega pics...i resized them. hopefully its better now :?:
nice DA my man. good luck with it.
they might be different then the 1992-1993.... the original engine in this car blew out at about 250,000 miles.
and yeah, its a nice graduation present to myself that hopefully lasts for the next 5 years or so
peace
in japan they had an XSI which came with a b16 and mods go good thats my therory
The 1990-91 did have less than the 1992-93
130 hp @ 6000 rpm
121 lbs.-ft. @ 5000 rpm
It just seems like the B16 is a modest hp improvement, with a noticeable loss of torque and the only reason(I think) that its perceived as "better" stems from the gearing . If you were swapping for a performance reasons, the B16 seems like a mediocre choice. If finding a cheap replacement engine was the goal, it makes more sense.
But yours came with a B16 done, so its not like you made the questionable decision.
