Good stuff man! We entertained the idea of doing this but we don't have the time nor the second wagon needed! Can't wait to see it on some big boy tires.
I've rolled it outside for awhile, have a motor job or two to finish before I have time to proceed. I did tear down the one motor today, taking block to be decked tomorrow, annnd fixed the exhaust/replaced the cat on pebbles'wagon. And loaded up the scrapmetal...
This just goes to show that you don't need a big ass garage like mine to do cool, off the wall, never been done before wagon craziness (might just make it a bit easier).
A funny thing: When I first visualized this thing, I intended to put the wagon body on another chassis- some 4wd small truck. I never did find the right candidate, and it morphed into what you see here.
So now a 2000 4runner looks like it may fall in my lap. It's pretty much totaled in front, but mechanically ok.
I do have a line on another Wagovan shell, hmmmmmm...

The beauty of this whole thing is it is actually done with another wagon. Though it would probably be bad a$$ on the toyo frame, straight civic wagon lifted is a whole lot better.

4x4 family truck?
I think you and me have already talk about it.
Wheelbase is only 7 inches different, hmmmmm.
I'll probably fix and flip it though, make a couple Gs.
4 doors and a short pick up bed.
fugly.. why not just buy a sedan and remove the decklid?
the bed would be really short though....
there is a wagon in the heads up thread that got hit by a tree.... might be perfect for a 2 door truck conversion....
Cause sedans are possesed
