But I guess that puts the brakes on my plan for MORE LIFT. I was gonna try for a little more tire by lifting another inch. Really don't want the expense and complications of custom-length axle shafts, though.
Hmm. I may just go another direction and see what kind of hairy ATV tires I can get on the RT steelies.

well lets just say they got some WILD atv tires
but didnt know if we could get away with running them on the streets and would they support the weight of a roughly 3200-3600 lbs ciVic Wagon..
Wag is more like 2500, and I really wouldn't want to run those on the highway at speed. Some of the less-aggressive UTV treads maybe, would have to check speed ratings.
Well, yesterday when I went to the doctor the only parking was in a deck. The attendant assured me (as he took my money) that the entrance was the lowest point in the structure...
Not so
The place was crowded, and the only spaces were on the roof. The laaaast beam was a little low.
Just barely snagged that wheel fork. While I was up there, took some pics.
Afterwards, when I went to pebbles' nearby office, i parked outside!
thats awsome you have the best of both worlds its a "oversized compact vehicle" now that you cant get your pain pills just get a handicaped sticker and you can park where ever you want!! LMAO
Forgot to post a pic of new center caps on the Diamond steelies
also this week: replaced that axle again. I guess that's going to be the weak link at this height with stock parts. That and the speedo cable. I removed the core and greased it again, but I don't think it likes its new routing. I'll try to come up with a longer one.
I did have to poke the speaker wires through the foam, but I didn't think about it being an air port.
I'm not sure how much difference the baffles made, never tried these speakers without. They're just some cheap Walmart ones, not as nice as the other cars.
ok thanks. i was just wondering. my friend gave me some almost new memphis audio speakers and i was thinking about putting the foam baffles. but after reading some reviews on crutchfield kept me wondering. so i just thought id ask a fellow member

Joshua man i recommend the baffles to help with keeping the speakers dry .... ive used them on many of my own installs (orion, pioneer, sony all worked fine with them ) and customers also ... check out my build thread pictured im sure..
The head unit I have is only like 17 watts per channel, so not very hi-fi lol.
Here's a shot coming home from the lake today
Bam hows the front axles holding up ..? hope to get Scrappy back on the road soon and debating which route to take on replacing both front axles again since boot got torn on both sides..
I replaced the right front a couple weeks ago, and it's vibrated through 25-30 mph ever since. I noticed that it was a bit shorter, but tried it anyway. I was thinking maybe it was a DA core, since they're nearly the same as RT axles but shorter by 3/8". No bueno.
I'll change it again soon, looking for a better solution. Right now I've no time for that. Getting the camper rig prepped to go to Florida next weekend.
ohhh yeah i do recall that debate of axles on rt and integra working .. (im getting old & my memory is getting worse )
man i was hoping that Florida trip was NOVEMBER ....
Well the beastie ate its first transmission Saturday night. I was climbing a 6ft bank and leaving the ground at the top. Second time up when I landed had a terrible grinding noise, now it's hung in 2nd gear.
Phillip: "Take me for a ride in that thang."
me: "OK! Do you have any terraces we can play on?"
Phillip: "Well, there's that bank there below the driveway, but You can't go up that in this little ol' car!"
me: "Hang on!"

Trailered it home...
And this is where its gonna be a real pain.. Sounds like your going to have to start hoarding good manual rt trannys.

Wouldn't that look wicked, though?

Check the oversize vehicle sign...
I told the truth.
He refused to refill my pain pills!

Also recruited a new member from Alabama, hopefully he'll join us here.
Playing in a ditch
The perspective here makes the difference unrealistic

thanks to ZCpower_R for another set of custom goodies!
WTF?
Umm, nope. I picked up the two gold wags with one half of a driveline between 'em. I'm not certain where I got yours!
still have two spares though.
