I just hit the junk yard yesterday for a supposed 4wd, that turned out to be a 88 dx manual but at least it had the one thing I have been looking for.. A Perfect Stock Antenna... Had a passenger mirror, but I already have 2 of them..
I may go back for the corner lights, I know somebody will need them..
It did have some good parts, but nothing I really needed..
Got the engine wiring harness done today- converted from '88 to '89 and OBD0 to OBD1.
Of course it's not fully taped and loomed yet. That'll have to wait until I drape it on the complete engine. I'm not sure of the routing with the JRSC setup.
Question: Is there any reason not to put the 4wire O2 sensor in the upper bung? They're usually in the collector, but with the exhaust I have in mind, there may be no room. The header I have (to modify) has both bungs.
I'm thinking about branching the O2 from the harness at the thermostat housing ground, which is roughly equidistant from either location. That way I can switch back and forth. Anybody ever tried that?
It's a bit too quiet around here. Let's do something crazy!
Time to get this thing started.
I'll let you guys in on what I've been thinking. I need someone to tell me it can't be done- that'll motivate me!
I've wanted to build a lifted wagon for awhile now, what I'm working on is a 4" body lift  I've been scratching my head about it for months, and there are a few things that I've yet to figure out. I'll keep this updated as I go.
Earlier in the thread you can see where I cut the rear subframe from the donor car. Today I whittled on it to make it (almost) fit
By using the entire subframe, I can preserve all (10) of the rear suspension mounting points in their proper orientation.
I've got some more carving to do, but it's getting there
After I get the rear set up, I'll lower the front crossmembers by the same amount, as well as the midshaft/VC mounts. The engine will sit 4" lower in the car, giving me some room underhood too. On top of all this, I'll do a spring lift and some tall A/T tires. Hoping for 7-8 inches total lift from stock.
Yeah, now I'm commited to act. Can't even move the car out of the shop until the rear is done!
I've been reading up about tuning the engine on E85 (d16z6 with JRSC) to raise octane and combat some of the temperature problems encountered with non-cooled superchargers. Anybody have experience with that?

Got the pieces a little closer tonight- still several days of work left...
This shot starts to explain what's happening, if you haven't clicked to it yet
Once I get the fit pretty close I'll take it all back down and wash/strip/grind it for welding. It's gonna take some creative metalwork to pull it off. So far I've got some issues with the fuel tank, lines, and filler hoses.

No real progress. I push it around to cut the grass underneath.
I don't know where I'd store parts with no junk cars!

and sorry i have no idea on the question u asked bout the o2 plug ...

So what do you think? Suggestions?
No, they're Georgia cars.Got them from a friend a little north of here.
I said holy hell he has gone and done it now.

You need to talk with CBE...
