ordered the wheels like Dec.18, they said 2 weeks. I called them 2 weeks ago, they said another week. I got back from Orlando yesterday and called them today: another week...maybe. (Been a month now)
First they said the centers were special ordered and were delivered to them Dec.28th, and that they would be delivered last week, once they were welded and powdercoated.
She told me the same thing today, that the 4x100 centers had just come in. When I called her on it, she said that the first ones were not the right style. Then she said that the die to form the rims also broke, Christmas holidays, blahblahblah.
I'm a ways from really NEEDING the wheels on, but I kinda got my hopes up. I also planned the work to flow around having the wheels mounted. Now I've shifted focus. I pushed it outside tonight because I have a few semi-paying jobs incoming. I think I'll work on getting the engine assembled next so that I can weld the engine mounts and paint the engine bay.
I did weld up the other spacered tophat and paint it tonight. Looks like that's going to work real well!
Well, I managed to get a little bit done between chores.
Painted the valve cover- a little early, but it was in my path
and installed the urethane-filled diff mounts
Right now I'm doing a lot of head-scratching, trying to visualize how to tie in the LCA pivot mounts and the toe compensator arm mounts. I need to incorporate them into a skid plate of sorts.

Don't waste your time sweating about that huge damper that bolts to the rear subframe. I took the one off the RWD Wagon, and never missed it.
Got the last 2 engine mounts filled today (thanks rbw). We're leaving in the morning for a week, so no updates for awhile
EPIC fail.
