Hi all, just wanted to introduce my 1979 Honda Civic Wagon. Took about two years to finish restoring it, but it's almost there now. Here are some pictures.
I bought the wagon from the original owner. He kept it in good condition. Always garaged it and everything was stock. When I acquired it, the paint was good, but still had some blemishes. I stripped it down and had it repainted the same stock color.
Since then I hunted down original parts from junk yards and online. I had a 5 speed trans put in along with '75 civic bumpers. I also looked for all the upgraded accessories like wood steering wheel, overhead console, wood shift knob, AC, 1st gen Accord rims (they are a bit wider for a more comfortable ride and look very close to 1st gen civic rims), etc.
Future plans are to clean under the hood, upgrade the suspension, the list goes on...
Very nice looking wagon there Scott. I get the feeling I've seen this wagon somewhere before.
I hope my wagon looks that good when (if) I get the time to restore it.
