    Salamé!
  • The wagons in Okinawa I saw with the bumper pole of course as Haydz said were aftermarket. Here is one wagon I saw in Okinawa. The wagons I saw all had the same pole by the way.

^Wow that looks nice. Any links for where one can find it? My google-fu is not strong. Also, do we have stock locations where we can bolt this right up or is it a 'custom' project?

I've seen ones with green tips, yellow tips, short ones, long ones... all on Shuttles.

Are we still talking about bumper poles?

The one you see in the pic actually mounts underneath the corner lens. You can get them from any car and mount them. You can find universal ones like the one I have. Takes a couple of screws to mount. Some are powered and some aren't. A lot I saw over there used the light from the car lights to light up the tip of the bumper pole.

okay guys thanks, I have a ef honda one in the orig box with wiring and switch non lighted.
I may add that my car has the ef9 sir front bumper on it so i guess i will just pick a spot and cut a hole :| or so i hope
Thanks for the input. I will post some pics after i get er on.
  • They are probably a Honda Access part, if your putting it on a USDM wagon then wont it be on the opposite side to a JDM wagon?
  • Most put it on the same side as a JDM wagon making it purely a show piece. I put mine on the opposite side of the JDM side so that it could be at least used for its purpose. My wife has a hard time parking her car

I've seen some that extend like the automatic antennas... So basically the purpose of these are to give you a reference of where the front of the car is?

Exactly, its a parking marker. And if you need one then you have issues. :)

a crx/civic 4g one will be the same place surely not?
  • Should be, depending on the mount.
I didn't get a mount with mine so was just going to hack holes in my "fitment" bumper till I found the right place.
Same goes for the IC and the washer jets.

I'd say the right place is as near to the corner of the bumper as possible, that's the point in it after all.

here it is honda access ef goodness. the copper spacer is there so that the motor isnt sitting on bumper lights and also allows it to be closer to the corner of the bumper

There's those damn headlights with nipples again...
  • dalowdadalowda New Wagonist
they were just thinking of you
  • Thanks for the pics.
I've got internal issues to fix with it. It's going to be very hard.
  • Lol, off subject but the nipples on the headlights are for attaching headlight aligning tools. I guess it's only a USDM thing...?
