civic/crx bonnet/hood on a wagon

i know they dont fit directly but i read about akiraboy using a crx cf bonnet on his wagon but all the pics have gone, im trying to find out how much work it is to fit one and how badly they fit does it look ok once its been modded to fit?
i ask cause i need a new bonnet and it will be far easier for me to get hold of a civic bonnet than a wagon/shuttle bonnet

 Please do a "Search" first.
Type in ,"CRX hood" in the Search & your answer will be on the 2nd page.

Sorry dude.Lots of peeps are lazy & don't do searches.

From What I remember it was just trimming the both outer edges by the hinge 3-6'' (can't remember). A thought I had was to not trim it if you were to do the rear lifted hood like the racers do.

Honda tuning magazine did a 5 parter on wagon mods. They were the ones that did the "trimmed Vis CRX hood(bonnet)" on the wagon.
  • does anyone know if it definatly fits if you lift the rear of the hood cause when i searched i read a few people speculated that it might
also you got a link to the honda tuning mag feature cause i couldnt find it on their site
  • i must have searched about 50 pages on honda tuning website so i dont think its on the site so if anyone happens to have the magazine with the article in id greatly apreciate it if you could scan and post it up
  • A UK member Marc-EE9 parted out a wagon not too long ago, why dont you write to him and see if he can help you out.

the trouble is i live right in the south west corner of uk and almost anything worth buying is being sold by someone hundreds of miles away and its difficult getting a courier to collect and deliver a bonnet as most companies refuse to do it cause the chances they will damage it is too high
