That is behind my house. It isn't registered in my name yet so this keeps it out of the eyes of people walking by and I really wanted to throw those rims on.
Right now I only have room to park two cars and I own six so I have to find spots to park the others.
Here is ANOTHER reason why my "Project Turbo Wagon" has not been started.
Instead of restoring my AE86 I decided to just buy one that was in pristine condition. Finally got my CA18DET turbo motor in just waiting for the guys to install it, wire it up, and do the custom driveshaft.
Original Body kit from the Dealer. I think the bumper is awful but I have an extra and I will be removing that ugly ass rear spoiler. Full repaint and all seams resealed. Interior is in immaculate condition.
Have these rims to put on the AE86 maybe. Ronal Posterts 15x7 et 20's. Might not be wide enough so I will have to maybe throw some 16x8's on it.
they made both FWD and RWD in the later years of the "86", they are called FX16s and they are like the civic 3 door of the same generation.
87 was the last year of the AE86 chassis

Ah yeah the FX16, my buddy got smoked by one with his DOHC ZC civic.
well you know me, always checking out wheels. the wheels on the 86 are super hot. how wide is the spoiler? might look sexy on the roof of a wagon......
Finally got the wheels back and decided to see how it will look. Still need some new lug nuts to utilize the wheels.
I just lowered the Cr-V too and installed the new fender. Got some paint for the CR-V so I can paint the new fender and touch up where some bitch keyed my car (I say bitch because she kept walking through my yard to get to the neighbors and I asked her once nicely, twice nicely, and yelled at her the third time. The next day I go out and there is a nice key mark down the side of the V, bitch).
What do you guys think?
Well the Wagon is getting put down for awhile. It will probably be down for quite a while and stored in the garage. Hopefully when it comes back out it will have the turbo and new motor installed and new bushings and some other mods to be kept secret until then. Hopefully it makes it out of the garage and doesn't get forgotten with the two AE86's and the new daughter on the way).
very nice! and nice levin i might add nice choice for a motor also, the ca is very underated motor, and i like the underdog keeps from being bored, the crv is great i want one some day! i like the front brush guard. i dont think ive seen that perticuler guard in the usdm, but we get stiffed on most of the good stuff
Wow somebody else who knows the CA. I have the 4 port Euro version going in with the Nissan Coils being replaced with the GM coils. I had to chip the ECU and fiddle with the Dwell to get it to work right. However a GM coil is 40 bucks and runs two of my plugs vs 90 bucks for a nissan Coil running only one coil and becoming harder and harder to find. They are bulletproof motors and I have been running them for the past 5 years with no issues and I beat the piss out of them. 200hp in a AE86 should be a blast to drive
I removed the CR-V's front guard seeing as it is mainly a show piece and provides no protection. The fog lights didn't work either and here they will fail you if an added option doesn't work. The Cr-V still needs more work to get it in condition to be a daily driven vehicle. Hopefully within the next month or so it will be ready to go.
Just watch for oil starvation issues in the CA, great engines I cant understand why people chcuk them out in favour of SR20dets.
I have a friend over here with a AE85 with F20c S2000 engine and gearbox with Toyota Hilux LSD rear end, set up for circuit but the other night pulled 12.8 sec 1/4 at 178km/h
I would love one but faaar to pricey over here and always rusty
Well no wagon updates. Trying to get the Cr-V ready for my new daughter that is coming anyday now. Got the new brakes on, and got the Kakimoto wheels mounted.
I also posted pics of the new resting place for the wagon tear down. Not quite finished but you get the picture.
So with all the current projects the wagon might get cut from the list. Rust is starting to creep in and my wife said if we were going to have to buy another body it might not be worth staying in the wagon scene. The car hasn't been driven in a long time now, so I fired it up and moved it into the new garage to convince myself that it was still worth hanging around.
We will see the decision hasn't been made yet.
So while playing I decided to throw on some 16x8 and 16x10 Steffan Evos that I recently aquired.
Remember the pics are from me just goofing around. I know the car needs to be dropped more.
Here is a pic of the rear 255/35/16 tucked underneath there.

The bigger tires are going to be ordered soon.

Already had an offer on the wheels
+1 on that buy.
Too many projects not enough time

i love em, so sick.

Thanks guys as always
So true. It took me years to find one of these things over here in Germany and I have two now. Both with Levin front ends and both coupes.
Soon to have a boosted AE86 and a boosted Wagon
