Another box came in today. Hopefully to make the suspension a little tighter. Just threw them together to see how they looked. Ksport coilovers, and ksport LCA's.
Anybody like orange?
Thanks to ABBEY for the great sticker. Didn't expect anything like this from him but again thanks ABBEY!!!!
Hopefully when I get back from Vacation this will be finished and the wagon can begin its tear down .
63 square meters or 680 square feet. One side of the garage is 15 feet tall and that side will have the lift installed. Total cost - 24,000 euros  This is one of the reasons I don't have too much time these days.
Also got word that the motor is back from the machine shop. 8)
Just in case anybody forgot what my car looked like
Eagle Beagle was vacationing around here in Germany and stopped by. Had us a small cookout and shot a couple of pics. Didn't have time to drive around and find a good spot so we just parked the cars in the yard.
Well a temporary replacement for the wagon has been purchased.
1997 CRV (EURO) and has the ability to run on some other type of gas just not sure yet but the owner (not original ) said it was LP.
Had a date with a guard rail and dented the front fender slightly, and scratched the side a little bit. Front spring is broken (easy fix), needs some new tires, and a tune up. All very easily fixed and I scored this for 2500 bucks.
This was purchased to give me plenty of time to get the wagon done right. Here is the motor finally back from the shop. New slugs, new rings, new bearings, polished valves, head shaved, new valve seals, all the ports were cleaned up a bit but no major porting and polishing.
The inside was very dirty and sludged up pretty bad. Luckily everything was within tolerance and is now ready for the turbo kit. Going to honda to purchase an OEM head gasket, and as soon as I get the clutch kit and my garage is finished the tear down will begin.
That CRV looks sweet! The wife and I have a '98 Lx with no factory options. Its pretty plain jane compared to the EDM.
The turbo kit was said to produce about 140-150hp. I don't want crazy power just enough to help power the little wagon through the hills.
The CRV comes with power windows, power locks, arm rests on driver and rear seats, a/c (not always an option here in Europe), front and rear fogs, folding middle tray with cupholder, and it is a 4spd automatic ( ) and again has the ability to run LP gas which should give me some good travelling without the worry to refuel all the time.
For 2500 bucks I couldn't pass it up. The LP gas system is a 2000 euro install here in Germany which is about 3000 dollars. I can remove it completely and sell it if I wanted considering US Military gas is still cheaper than LP but if I was German this would be the way to go.
I have some 16x7 et 35 Kakimoto 2pc wheels I might throw on the CRV. I do have some BRAND NEW CRV Steelies if anybody is interested.
Well the CRV needs some new tires so I thought i would see if a set of my JDM rims in the garage would fit. Pulled these 16x7's out and they fit pretty flush with the edge of the fender. So new tires, and pull the centers out and have them powder coated dark blue.
What do you guys think? These should look pretty sweet with some bigger tires on there (those tires won't stay on there a tad small).
It looks like your carport is modular, you just move the red pavers to where ever you need them i.e. under the drivers side tires and under the jack. Sorry just something I noticed.

Ragen the car is looking hot, have you thought about getting a deflector like the yakima racks? I reckon it would look mean as.

The Beagle isn't mine.
This was really the first time I actually met somebody else over here that owned another wagon and didn't just have parts from them.

If it really only is temporary, when you sell it let me know! I've been looking for a nice affordable CRV!
