New from Michigan.

Hi there, I am Zakk from Saginaw, Michigan. Looking to own a 4wd Wagon soon to get me through these horrible MI winters. That's about all from me.

I am still looking around, it is hard to find a 4wd that isn't completely trashed/rusted out. I may have to settle for only two wheels. :(

...or find one in the south and road trip it up north =)

I wish I had the time, haha. Maybe that isn't a bad idea though, a weekend trip to Tennessee or something...Hmm...

in the long run dude, anything without RUST is worth the trip. even if it is to Cali

Hm, I found a nice 4wd in lower Ohio for $1000, 7 hour drive though, if I can talk him down a bit, it may be worth my time.

Okay, sorry for the bump, but I have a question.

I lost out on the 4wd opportunity, but I may have found an almost alternative. I found this $400 '89 wagon with a blown out engine that I am sure I could talk him down to $300 or less. I also found someone selling D16's for $400. See where I am going with this?

So my question is, how much work is it to put a D16 into the Wagon? What else would I have to buy? This is my first civic so I'm not used to these engines.
