My 91 4wd Wagons Exhaust Plan.

Hey everyone. New to the honda scene. All my car experience is with a 1970 Chevy Nova i restored. So bear with me.

Just bought a 91 wagon, 4WD. As soon as I pass inspection, i plan on getting custom exhaust run. Stainless steel 2" pipe, no cat, and a flowmaster 40 series. Too loud? My nova has headers and the flowmaster 40's. Its loud but not obnoxious. Share your thoughts please.

  • I'm running an OEM cat, 2" piping and an N1 style muffler on my rt and it's really loud. I guess it could sound different with the 40 series though.

I highly recommend using a resonator in the straight section mid-car. Mine is just a 28" Thrush glass-pack.

Thanks for the input. Where can i find the oem cat? The 40 series flowmasters are the loudest muffler they make. (I'm gonna need the cat then)

And a glasspack as a resonator... that sounds like a good idea to me.

    Thanks for the input.
