Band Wagon
Hey everyone, I dont have my wagon yet but its coming. I live in CO and I have to go to IA to pick it up. My old man and I love buying and selling older cars as a hobby. I have owned tons of cars and I love VWs most of all. Im pretty used to VW vortex (awesome) and I'm stoked to have a HCW forum. I have always liked the old 4WD wagons and when my dad had the oportunity to buy an '87RT with 87,000 miles I told him to buy it! This will be my daily driver and needs to be able to get me to the ski resorts without problems. I love to head up in the mountains and so this car needs to have good clearance and great tread.
Im thinking about adding beefier tires for more snow and mud ability. Anybody have some cool pics of their "off-road" Wagovan?
Also, my wagon is a 1987, its not quite the same body (front end, rear window). Will most parts swap between the generations?

As far as I know, nearly NO parts will interchange between 3rd and 4th gen. They're just two different machines.
