    Akiraboys RT is auto, might wanna ask him if it has the SL gear. I think it does but i'm not 100% sure.

    auto DOES have an SL button, so im assuming it has an SL gear lol

    I have an 89 RT4WD auto. It does not have SL gear. It has P, R, N, D, S, and 2. S is a sort of "sport mode" that locks out 4th (it's a 4-speed auto), firms up the shifts, and holds higher revs. There's a button on the shifter that will put you into S4 mode, which is S with 4th gear enabled. Also, on the shifter is a LOW button. If you drop the shifter into 2, then press LOW, it will lock the transmission into 1st gear, and only 1st - you can hit the rev limiter and it won't upshift. Not good for it, but that's how it works - trust me. :lol:

    Hi, new owner RT owner here, is there any indication when you are in sport mode, If I push the button nothing seems to happen?
