4wd bearing problem

I have an 89 RT4wd which after about 20 miles or so on the interstate, a howl will begin, then not much longer after that starts, the car will begin bucking, like something in the drivetrain is dragging.

I disengaged the 4wd and the problem is no longer present. Anyone had a similar problem before and could point me towards the likely culpruit. I'm assuming it is most likely a bearing in the transfer case, but could it also be a bearing in the driveshaft coupler thing?

turns out #19 was definitly shot. now that I have it all back together, I'm not able to turn the driven gear by hand (#5-#13).

4wd is disengaged, is this normal? Should I be able to turn this gear by hand with everything assembled, or do I have something bound up?

Yeah i'd definately jack the whole car off the ground otherwise the diffs might interfere with your testing. Remember to use stands and not jacks. ;)
