Wagon done gone an blowed up!

Well, I got home today, and I knew that shes was done. The little D16A6 was pumping more oil through the rad then it was through the block. Looked like mud in the overflow.

I knew it was going to happen sooner or later, but hey, it could have had better timing. And so i will be parking the wagon for a while, and picking up an old 3rd gen Civic sedan for my wife to drive while I rebuild a new motor and finish up the wagon.

Shit happens I guess, oh well. She will be better for it when Im done!

Yeah, Blowed up isnt a very good term. Headgasket melted. Motor is totally savable but its a pain in the ass to pull it, rebuild it, then drop it back in. I would rather find one already out of the car in good condition or rebuilt and just buy it outright.

I knew it was going, but I was really hoping it would last until my Hatchbacks ZC was done and shipped to me so I could drop in my rebuilt A6 thats in the hatch right now along with the super charger thats in my garage.

But for now, I look for a motor. Anyone with any good stock D16A6s around the Fresno area, let me know, I need it!
