are rt4wd front axles model specific?

as the title states. i was changing out my passenger side axle and had been given a good one for free (from nonabs 88-00 civic). however when i go to put it in the tranny its to small??


** just realized I had put driver side, meant passenger***

    outboard one fits perfect. do 88-91 crx si work? sorry on my phone at work. typing is a bit difficult.

    The driver side one is specific due to the intermediate shaft on the RT's.

    so where did people get their passenger side axle from? so far these places are giving me the wrong ones :(
