i don't think it's that F-series. i think it's the Accord motor, as the H and Accord F-series take the same mounts.

who wants and H-series anyway? i'd much prefer a JDM K20A.

I know they are talking about the mount kit...it's still pretty expensive though.

ps. the f22c wouldn't fit because it's for rear wheel drive...forgot about that. a k20 wagon def would be awesome though.

  • I'd like to see an Accord V6 in a wagon..244hp sounds like a winner to me.
Does anyone know if this is even possible b/c If it is, I'm willing to do it.
  • even if you can fit the v6 in the wagon, there would be alot of weight upfront well alot mare than a 4cyl. being in thier so you probably have to address alot of the front suspension components. also with more weight upfront and basically none in the back it might be imbalanced

you can skip the hasport kit if you want. I found a kit cheaper than this, heres the link. http://www.explicitspeedperformance.net/index.html

Looks to me like he has sold a couple kits already & they've worked aok so far.

Lmk guys, these are exiting times we live in. woot woot :o

a buddy of mine in town is actually in the process of fabbing his own mounts to put a h22 in his 1st gen teg, along with a h2b adaptor plate for his tranny. I'm not sure how that's gonna work out, but I'll update if any more details come up.
  • the way to do a V6 would be to put it in the back... use RT4WD rear trailing arms and spindles, fab a cradle for the engine, and move a fuel cell under the bonnet to replace the gas tank.

o/c, if one was going that far, i'd use an NSX as a donor car, not an Accord.

HASPORT kits for H series are far too expensive and still put the engine in a dangerous position. Far too much weight forward of the front wheels, can anyone say 'understeer'?

    :D

Theres a few other companies making these kits that put the engine in a safe position...

HASPORT = paying for the name.
