Potential new wagon owner... Should I?

Hey everyone, i found a Wagon for sale local to me for $1000. body is straight, interior is ok.130K miles ext is white interior is blue. 2wd 5 speed.
What do i do? whats a good price for one?

    No rust? I'm sure the guys in the states will tell you to take it if it is as you say.

    Hard to say without looking at it, but the price sounds good.

    Do you know if the timing belt has been changed, may need to get on it if not.

    Going to look it over after i get off work today. found some 15in rota slipstreams local for 300 that may make her a little prettier as well.

    I am typically a BMW guy, but i love wagons... and finding a BMW touring wagon here is next to impossible.

    Gonna go give it the rust search this evening... anything specific otherwise i should check for... i suppose i should search, there is probably a thread for that already.

    Car looked good, no rust, no body damage cept a few dings, interior is clean.... Owner is asking 1600 figured i could get her to a grand... no go... i will try 1100 tomorrow.

    Looking forward to being part of the gang...

    even if you end up having to pay, say, $1500 thats a great deal for a wagon in the condition that one is in.

    well i looked it over again today, this time thoroghly. it has some damage to the hatch area that worried me, like someone tried to close the hatch with something in the top... NTM the hatch was basically being help on by rust particles. no rust was visible until i opened the doors and hatch. i think i am gonna let this one pass me by..... i dont have the resources to do the rust fix here. :-(

    Yeah, rust can be a real deal killer. You'll find something.
