B20 OR B18B??

i have a chance to get a new long block, and was wondering which motor you guys would choose? i was leaning towards the b20 for its price and torque, but wasnt sure how reliable it was. i know the b18b can take alot of abuse and what not. my wago will be autocrossed and be my daily driver. i need it to be reliable enough to drive it home after ripping through the gears when autocrossing. thanks fellas for any info and help...

    i would go b20 with b18 head. b20 for its size since its a 2 liter/torque and b18 head for better flow. just my 0.02 cents.

    Later B20s have the P8R head which flows as well or better than the B18 non-Vtec heads. All you need to do is make sure you upgrade the intake manifold.

    Well you know what they say, there's no replacement for displacement.

    At least when it comes to low end torque.
