Keep looking in the salvage yards until you find a wagon with a current inspection. Then buy the windshield..... just kidding.
HAHAHA! I think the salvage yard I frequent removes the stickers prior to putting them out. I haven't really noticed stickers at all.
I'm going to take the wagon to another mechanic who I trust (rather than a friend of a friend of a friend) and get his honest opinion, not that I don't trust you guys but I want him to actually say it to my face that I cannot save the wagon. I may be crazy but for some reason I just can't seem to let go.
I've been eyeing craigslist for any good deals on EFs. I've seen quite a few but they haven't replied yet or the car has been sold already. One EF I called about, the guy said he put the ad up an hour before I called and I was the 5th caller. He sold it to the first caller who was already on his way there with a truck to pick it up! Geez...
