I just finished my a6/y8 mini me build on my 4wd wagon. I haven't gotten to drive it yet because of a blown tire but that's getting fixed today. The engine runs great and I'm anxious to see how it drives.
I went with the y8 head because I wanted the higher n/a compression and even though I plan to boost it later on, I favor high c/r turbo setups
I hope everything has gone well. I don't know how far you've gotten but in regards to the sensors, they all use the same wiring, the connectors are just different so just go snip the connectors from whatever donor car you get the head from.
