ORG RallyX #2

Damn watersplashed caught me a few times...

first pass... I slid up on the 2nd splash.

2nd pass.. the cones got moved at the 1st and just killed me. got water up in the intake and on the disty. just killed what 40ish HP i had.. had to continue in 1st gear, not even close to wrapping it out.. that's how bad it was.

3rd pass went well. had my line pretty well placed.

4th pass was awesome! my best after the cones were moved. workers said i caught air comin through the finish wish i had the camera running for it, but the memory filled before the 3rd run ended. You'll see in the vids.

1st Pass (1:17.424): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqlfpPL-7fI
2nd (1:28.510): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0K0uWUQVGQI
3rd (1:24.071): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rhf0GwgkXPE
4th (1:20:356)

All runs were clean! at least I can keep that to my name so far. No cones or gates missed this season!
I finished 3rd in class. And moved up from 7th to 4th in points now.

Someday, enough people around here will become interested in this and we will put on rallyx's, but until then, Ill have to live through your vids. Looks like a lot of fun. Im jealous.

You can drive down here to Utah, we've got rallycross events quite often. I'm contemplating entering my wagon in a few, with a friend co-driving.

There's a small but active New England RallyX scene. Problem for me is, I'm in the northeast corner of New England, and all but one weekend event are pretty far away from me. Maybe having up to 16 local autocrosses a year has spoiled me. But I have a hard time justifying the time and expense to travel 6+ hours to a RallyX - as much as I love doing it, and especially love turning heads in SA with my wagon (at least, if I can convince them that no, really, my Civic IS all wheel drive, before they "helpfully" reclass me into SF  )

There is a two day event in Union, ME, later this year that's maybe an hour from me. I have every intention of attending both days of that event. :)

I have clearly pointed you towards both the rules and the thread explaining how to get access, you may have made 10 posts but they are all rubbish posts. Just like this one.
This is not the place to ask for a wagon and this is not the place to ask for marketplace access

Oh wow! that looks rough! The muddy picture is AWESOME though. WE just had our first rallx in Louisiana 2 months ago. Hopefully it will catch on soon. Wasnt pretty to see a 4 day old 11' sti crack a front bumper though.

LOVE IT!!!! I'm totally going to do this when I get my wagon. Did you do anything in particular suspension wise? Stock ride height? I keep looking at the suspension mod threads and no 1 has anything definitive in regards to lifting and such. I want to do mine kind of Max exoskeletonish... kudos to you..

I rally mine at least once a month. Specifics here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=12595&hilit=rallywagon

And theres 3-4 threads where members are lifting thier wagons, but I dont recommend doing that if your gonna rallyx. Ive parked mine on its doors once already and its stock, if it was any higher, Im sure it would happen more often.
