+++SiWagon DIY:Cheap Custom Tails & Bright Ideas

Rear Brake Lites:You'll notice that there are 2 brake lites on each side.For a more customized look.Remove 1 of the brake lites from each side.I'd recommend removing the 2 inner 1's.
Benefit:2 spare bulbs & less drain on the system.You can put the 2 spare bulbs into the bulb holders built-into the rear interior corner lite covers.Which brings us to the next Mod that'll take some of the power back that we just saved.
Brighter Fronts:Get a pair of rear hi mount brake lites(#921 I think) .Replace the 2 front clear corner bulbs with the #921s.
Benefit:Brighter. & 2 more spare bulbs.8) You'll notice the #921 are larger & brighter than the frt.bulbs.I admit its hardly noticeable,but hey it's forward lighting.

    Maybe you can get away with that in the US but here you'd get pulled over pretty damn quick as you need four or more rear red lights. Plus this is safety we are talking about here...

    Doesn't the '88 Civic HB & CRX EF and all '92-'95 Civic HB have only 3 rear stop lites?With so many sizes,years,shapes how's the bobby going to know?As long as the copper sees 1 on each side & the hi-mount lite you're alright.It's still safe enough.
