New User - California (Bay Area)

Just want to say what's up to everyone and introduce myself ...

I just picked up a 1988 2wd Civic Wagon and it's going to be my next project to build.
It looks like it's been to hell and back, but in my eyes can be fixed up.

If anyone could kindly point me in the right direction to getting replacement parts
that would be great ... website or maybe a local store in Bay Area.

I am pretty much looking for all the bolts on from suspension to changing out that vinyl bench seat in the back. I really want to throw a body kit on there too ...

Thanks,
Rey

    welcome to the forum!
  • Welcome to the forums! OEM Honda parts are always recommended, but check out your local junkyard. You might have a goldmine close to you and you don't even know it.

Found three wagons @ the junkyard. i picked up some door panels, rear 40/60 seats, both fenders, dash pad with vents and the digital clock ... just need to find some decent corner lights, anybody got some for sale?

little bit of work to get those seats in... i hope you drilled out the brackets that go behind the rear plastic panels and took
them with you; otherwise you will be returning to the junkyard to get them... you'll know what im saying when you go to
install... good luck it can be done...

big thumbs up for doing work!!

Wow ... that was fun, NOT !!! 85 degrees outside, 90 something in the wagon, but hey, I got 'em ... the only problem I think I"ll have is mounting the lower bracket on the floor. I'll have some kinda build thread somewhere on this board, just need to find the right section.
