shiftlinkage

anyone that has a b series i have a question. i have a b20 and am planing on using the DA linkage that i was using in my old EF hatch. and i am wondering if i can still use the same linkage or have to use another linkage from another car? any help would be appreciated.

geez, I'm not sure if the distance from shift lever to trans is the same in wagon and hatch... I bet it is, though.

I'm gonna say yes, you can use the same linkages.

You should be able to use the DA but dont quote me on it. When I did the b16 swap in the crx they left my stock one bolted to the shifter and then the one that came with the motor was connected to the tranny. they lined them up to where they would meet. cut, and mated the two. so I had a hybrid HF/b series shift linkage.

It will fit just as well as it did in your hatch. I bought ShaunK's wagovan with B20 swap, and it had the off the shelf B series Hasport shift linkage for B series swaps into EFs.

Sometimes you just have to run into problems. we wagoneers, we just get over it and make it work

Ive compared the 2 and I think the Wagon linkage is like 2 inches shorter...
