repined the wagon and turned it on

so i repined the wagon today so that the z6 would turn on. its bobbing up and down as it idles. where the gas filter hos bolts on the fuel rail its spraying out gas and not a little but a lot. so i will end up loosing that and re setting it to see if it stops spraying. but any thoughts on why its bobbing? and there is a clicking sound as well but im guessing that is the engine trying to get oil through it. its been sitting for over 4 months with out being started. any ideas of what it might be please let me know.

thanks again.

You might be missing a compression washer on the fuel rail, and the bobbing of the idle is more than likely a vacumme leak. Both pretty easy fixes. If your an early riser, hit me up in the am and I can swing by and see if we can figure it out. I have plans in the pm, so if possible, hit me up early. Nice job though making her breath again Gabe!

Did you crack the tranny from the block befor you installed it? I know alot of z6 trannys the syncros go bad in the first 150k miles.

the trans is the one from the wagon. the wagon is an automatic so i just kept it that way. but now that the car runs i will just end up swapping it to manual.

right now it is not going into gear. i dont know what it is so i decided to not mess with it to keep myself from stressing out.

Do you mean it's stuck in park? There's a shift interlock that is part of the ECU that won't let you shift out of park unless the key is in the ignition. The ECU is looking for the key in the ignition before it will release the shift lever from park. If you're using the manual P28 ECU, that's probably your problem. You need an auto P28 ECU. If you're still using your old wagon auto ECU, then there's probably a problem with the wiring you did.
