brake line help

So my Wagon has ALB which is naffed and I ahve read up that the abs Dc and eg integras and civics to remove the abs stuff all you need to do is swap out the front break lines and the rear is the same.

I am wondering if this is the case with the shuttle/wagon and If the hatch/sedan brake lines are the same and will be a simple enough swap?

Thanks in advance

If your car has ABS you need to disable and posibly remove the system to convert our of it. I think thats what you were asking.

    Yes that is my question.

When converting the newer civics and integras people only need to swap the front brake lines after they remove the ABS. I was wondering if this was the same story in the shuttles AND If the hatch/sedan brakelines would fit

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. The A.L.B system is under about 300psi of pressure, please don't disconnect the ballast without extreme care cause thats 'strip you to the bone' material.

Keep in mind the A.L.B is connected to the INTRAC system - if you mess with the A.L.B it makes her full-time 4WD, you may need to fiddle with some wiring to get it to work again.

Has the WOF guy seen the A.L.B light on the dash yet? If so, this is going to be expensive. If he hasn't, you're good to go.

You need to replace front brake lines, master cyl and booster. You should also remove the timing rings from the outside of the C.V cups and any stickers on the car that say A.L.B. You also need to pull the guage cluster and scrape the A.L.B words off it or change to another cluster. You also need to remove the A.L.B unit, the ballast and any extra A.L.B brake lines.
    That should let you pass.

If you have already been for a WOF and it failed on A.L.B then you need to get the work i outlined above certified.

Just get your own brake lines made up either buy yourself a flaring tool or take it to a brake and clutch place.

Removed the alb lights from the dash and vtnz passed it !!:)

I was aware it was under very high pressure but not that high!!

I have some bigger disks I want to intsall and some legend calipers so things will have to be changed anyway, Is there a different procedure for bleeding them?

I thought the A.L.B disengaged the clutch by sending it current and Otherwise it was engaged and it worked as mormal with hte viscous coupler in the diff?
