Im gathering parts for a vitara build. Got the majority of the engine stuff, but Im waiting on a clutch/flywheel so machine work can start. I love waiting... :?

it should be the same as your first build. the only different is you will have to go to obd1 if you are tuning with crome, hondata, or ectune. im not sure if you have a shot to tap for the intermediate shaft if it is a rt4wd.

OK, I've been wondering this so I have to expose my ignorance. WTF is a Vitara build?
  • Short answer... Suzuki Vitara's use pistons that fit into D16's, using them lowers compression just right for a turbo kit and from the info I've gathered, Vitara pistons are a little stronger than OEM Honda. Plus they are inexpensive!!
  • collecting parts for mine as well, as soon as the tax return gets in its on

I went and checked my block and it doesnt have the bolt holes for the shaft
I guess I'm going to have to make a mini me with my A6 block with my y8 head
Does any one know what head studs I should use with that setup?

if remember right using the y8 head in the a6 block, one of the arp head studs have to be a different length. i believe it was 7-a6 or z6 and 1-y8 head stud. someone correct me if i am wrong.......
