  • check for a vacuum leak
  • Sounds ignition related, you have any more info?
  • Could be a coil/ignitor problem. That's kinda what mine did and it was the coil crapping out.
  • Yeah I would check if the little bolt holding your rotor on is still there, those have a tendency to fall out and then you rotor just spins freely in your cap.

if it were the rotor bolt wouldnt it not run at all. ive been told by more than 1 person and a couple shops that its the coolant temp sensor since the connector on mine is very poor. it doesnt clip on the sensor they say its not tellin the o2 sensor that the car is running

Yeah it would run because the rotor has a flat spot as does the shaft through the distributor but it would be sloppy, maybe casuing misfiring and stalling.
  • sounds like a timing issue. when you did your mini me did you remember to re adjust your timing belt tentioner? sounds to me that your belt jumped a tooth

I'd have to agree with the guys - sounds ignition related. I would check cap and rotor first as that's the easiest and go from there. Could just be that the cambelt has even jumped a tooth when you started it after you dropped her off.
