finally i post up pics of my wagon. sorry it took so long, i had some projects pending, and those finally went thru except for one, so now i have pics!
here's what it used to be when we first got it. 86,000 miles on it....
my first project was this custom 6.5" speaker enclosure
next was a custom 6x9 speaker enclosure
DelSol seats and momo steering wheel
custom bent Dynomax exhaust with Magnaflow tip
Tokico Illumina's with Skunk2 coilovers
after admiring mrwagovan's for so long, was the rear-deck mod with Blaupunkt 6x9's
two 10" Polk db104
and this is the wagon now...with new Falken rims and tires
hope you guys like!

Nice man, really nice work.
I think you did a great job duckie.
Props to you!
there were a bunch of bmw's and benz there (froma dealership that sponsers the auto-tech program) but i think the student's cars were the best ones. all that hard work that went into them.
what you think about those rims? they match up nicely right?
Second, those aren't bad wheels ...
...however, I question the choice of color.
I had to look at it for a few minutes and I still can't put my finger on it.
It might be the unpainted bumpers which are a large area of black, when combined with the ultra dark windows, represent the cars complement to the blue. But adding a third color to the mix that doesn't really match or complement both colors is bugging me. I say powdercoat them black and it would look very cool.
But as long as you're happy with them, forget what I think.
thanks for your opinion tho!
but if we do....ZC maybe? or even if im lucky a b16. but that's a long way down the road.
well, to those who want to do this, it is a fairly easy mod. it's not as easy as the 89' teg lower lip (bolt on). i would have done this, but i couldnt find one in the local junkyard. If you look on the accord lip itself, there are a few tabs you're gonna have to trim off (dont cut thru the hole). and in the middle large tab piece, you're gonna have to trim off quite a bit to make it fit flush. i drilled a total of 4 holes (two on each side) to make the tabs fit onto the bumper. also, made a few holes bigger too. pretty much, line up the center holes on the bumper and lip and just make everything else stay on and fit flush. then went at the corners with a blowtorch and bent it to where it would fit. and then cut off excess lip. taking off the bumper will help greatly
wish i took some pics of the lip before i started at it, but i couldnt find my camera until today. if you do need help on this, take a close pic of the lip and tabs and i'll show you what you need to cut off.
also, since the bumper was off anyway, i took off the resonator. it breathes a lot better now. (thanks davens for the idea) sounds deeper too.
L 8) 8) KS NEW ,when you Armour-All it.Don't need to worry about bumper paint scratches ,when idiot parkers hit it.
6 hours??
it looks good Duckie..
you should take that whole air box out, you don't need it..
just leave the long rubber tube with no box.
or get a cold air intake.
well 6 hours cuz we pretty much went at it with no plan at all. and a few trips to Sears for bolts/washers n stuff. then we had to figure out how to heat it (blow-dryer didnt work) then bend it to make it fit. we wanted it to look right. there was a lot of put on, take off and cut more going on, which is why it took so long. i wish i coulda gone the '89 teg route...but those darn things are hard to find. we found three at a junkyard, but all were cracked.
that airbox has my K&N filter in it. dont want any stray objects getting in. we actually have a cold-air sitting in the garage. it used to be on our old wagon. but my dad discovered that a K&N will pull more HP than a mushroom CAI, so we stuck with that.
You've gone half way on the intake. Now get a scoop like from here:
http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/naca.htm
Trim a hole in the bumper, epoxy this duct to the inside of the bumper, and run a 3" hose into the bottom of your intake box. Cold air, ram air lite and more performance.
hmm i dont know if i'll cut a hold in the bumper tho. do you have a pic of how large the hole will be and how it will look?
My CRX uses two smaller holes side by side. This way I was able to tuck them up under the bumper overhang...you can't even see them unless you get down on your hands an knees. And even then, the scoop/funnel is also black so the whole thing is pretty invisible
As far as keeping the bumper pretty, you can put rubber trim around the edges of the hole.
here's a good shot of the lip. kleancut's been asking for some
enjoy
