91 a/t control unit flashing led and/or 'S3' flashing led

Hey all, anyone ever have a situation with their transmission that actually caused the a/t control unit led to flash or the 'S3' light on the shifter base to flash?

I'm trying to troubleshoot my slipping tranny situation.

check your tranny fluid ... if its low it will cause your trans to slip like hell
