lowering a 87 civic wagon w/torsion bars

how do u lower a civic wagon w/torsion bar. i know about the adjustment nut and bolt, but i want to go lower and how do u lower the back end thanx for any help

    The normal way has been to get lowering springs ,but I don't know how difficult it's to get these springs.I've heard of peeps using springs from other Honda & cutting coils.Info on this has been sketchy.Sorry.Good luck :?

    that would be great but i have torsion bars and shocks up front no springs

    check with suspension technique..i used there parts to lower my 87 crx..practically the same suspension....

    We used 88-91 coilovers for the rear of numorous older Civics and Integras. Never got any negative feedback from any of the people we did it for either. Rear springrates from the coilovers were around the 250-350 mark.
