What does your wagon weigh?

What model wagon do you have?
What engine do you have?
Any weight reduction mods or anything that would have added weight?

Here is mine.

  • Mail me that scale and I'll tell you what the electric version weighs!

Seriously, I could use that scale. I'm dying to know how my conversion modified the weight. I think I got close to stock, but I just can't tell.
  • do they not have weigh stations in FL?
  • Not within range of my house. I suppose I could tow it out to the dump or something. But that scale setup looks awesome: it could tell you the weight distribution on all four tires, as well as the overall and axle weights.

How often do you use those scales? If they see significant shelf time, I'll happily pay shipping both ways and a $10 use fee to weigh my Wagon.
  • We use them here on a regular basis. Its just another tool that doesn't leave the shop.

Goto a Truck Scale about $5-$10.Goto 1 of the SCCA AutoX events & talk to officials .1 of the members has 1.It's used at the regional finals(forgot what's it's called). One of the members will probably let you drive to their place to use it.Or what I did 1 time was to drive to one of the unmanned highway patrol truck scales & read the weight through the window.

That's cool. I don't want to sound like a beggar or anything; you asked, I figured I'd be happy to measure it for you if I could obtain the equipment.

I can only go 15 miles before I need to recharge, and there's not a scale within range. I've been looking for AutoX events near me, but nothing so far besides a UCF meet seven years ago.

It's not a pressing issue to me, though. I'll keep my eyes open, and eventually I'll get lucky. Meanwhile, I hope other members answer your question.

anyone know how much the stock 87 rt4wd weigh?
  • broodybroody New Wagonist
1000kg (2200lb) if I trust my immatriculation paper. Otherwise, I guess it's somewhere in the service manual maybe.
I hope it's right, because the weight (and price, and maybe rear cv joints) is pretty much the only good thing about the 3g over the 4g.
I'll try to bring it to the scales.
