Id be interested in something like that especially if it had an SiR headlight cut to it :!:
Would it get cheaper if more buyers were available? Reinforced hood latch? Hood pins required? Any kind of reinforcement, and is it metal or fiberglass? Rolled edges? Shaved window squirters?
i can pull the 1/4 in 12.5 @124mph with her she has a b18 LS dohc motor
no turbo yet or nos
scoops but it in the making to be ram air set up 18" rims 205/40 18 toyo treads, custom tilt plate in hb, green street glow under the car and in side the car strobe lights in headlight are green 4 12" subs 4 1,000 watt amps,
and a 800 watt amp for the doors she is getting there not done all the mods i want to do like turbo, nos, dual exhast, rollback roof , and a few more mods still in the mind of this mad man to be worked out
no need to hate though fuck it mine runs 11 flat that sounds about right
(0-60 that is)
what im trying to imagine is the four 12's in the back. damn i had trouble with two 10's. but then again i had the reardeck thing. and an 800W amp for the doors. you must be killing those 5.25" speakers. and even if it were 6.5", still a lot for just door speakers. gotta tell us how you did that
mad props on the kit fasho. the spoiler looks great. not too big, not too flashy. lovin' it. the kit isnt my style, but if you drove by me, i'd be staring hard. hahah props
by the way...this thread has gotten way off topic
YAH I WANNA SEE PIX AS WELL
hey now that this thread is back on the subject of Carbon Fiber, will a 1988-1991 Civic/Crx Carbon fiber hood fit onto a wagon?
Or is it too short?
It looks about the same size as my current wagon hood, but I'm not sure.
I have a chance to buy a used one for about $100 dollars that needs some work done to it like a new clear coat and sanding..It does have hood latch and locking pins for it.
i just measured the wagon's hood to my hatchie's hood.
the wagon is 54 1/2 up top and 28 down the bottom.
the 28 part matches..but the top 54 1/2 is shorter than the 56 1/2 the hatchie hood is.
maybe I can grind/sand off the 2 inches off the top end?
As a side note... I wouldn't waste the time modifying a hatch's hood: If you mess up it won't fit your hatch or wagon. Just get it done the right way, have someone with experience fabricate one.
